Pastor Donald L. Curtis
God has blessed me so much through my life. I am married to a wonderful Godly woman, Denise, who is such a blessing to me. God has given us two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Natalie and one of the most loving, energetic sons that any father could wish for, Jake. If that isn't enough we have four awesome grandsons, Craig, Casen, Eli and Tucker and one beautiful granddaughter, Presley.
It has been an honor and privilege to be called to pastor the Moraine City First Church of God since April 1, 2018. God has been preparing me for many years in various ministry positions to bring me where we are today.
I was called into ministry in my early 20's as a full time foreign missionary in Guatemala, Central America. This experience quite frankly changed my life forever. I love to preach and share the gospel no matter where it is. After several years of missionary work in Guatemala I became the pastor at a church in New Castle, Indiana. It was a great blessing to share the gospel in Indiana until I was called back into the mission field. This time it was to serve as President/CEO of a mission called Children's Lifeline in the wonderful but desperate country of Haiti. This position taught me so much about how blessed we truly are not only materially but also how much God has blessed everyone no matter what walk of life, background and nationality we come from.
I am originally from Kentucky and have a bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Some of my favorite things to do are preach, play golf, work on my little farm and spend time with God's people.
