Walking into a new church for the first time can feel a little intimidating. We want your first visit to Moraine City First Church of God to feel like coming home.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to dress a certain way. And you don’t have to know what to expect. Just come as you are—we’ll be glad you’re here!

At Moraine City, we are a family of believers who simply want to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, are looking for a new church home, or are just beginning to ask questions about faith, there is a place for you here.

What Can I Expect?

When you arrive, you can expect a friendly welcome, genuine people, heartfelt worship, prayer, and Bible-centered preaching that connects God’s Word to everyday life.

We believe church should be more than something you attend—it should be a place where you belong, grow, serve, and experience the presence of God.

Come comfortable. You’ll see people dressed in everything from suits and dresses to jeans and casual clothes. What you wear isn’t important to us. You are.

Service Times

Sunday School — 9:30 AM
Classes and Bible study for all ages.

Sunday Morning Worship — 10:30 AM
Worship, prayer, and a message from God’s Word.

Sunday Evening Worship — 6:00 PM
A time to gather again for worship, encouragement, and biblical teaching.

Wednesday Evening — 7:00 PM
Midweek worship, Bible study, prayer, and activities.

What About My Children?

We love families, and we want children to know that church is a place for them too! Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and discover how much God loves them.

If you’re unsure where your children should go when you arrive, just ask one of our friendly church family members. We’ll help you every step of the way.

You Don’t Have to Have It All Together

Maybe it’s been years since you’ve been to church. Maybe you’ve never been to church. Maybe life has been difficult lately and you’re simply looking for hope.

And don’t worry about knowing when to stand, sit, sing, or what happens next. Just relax and worship with us.
