All are welcome to stop in and pray. Every Tuesday 8:00am.
In your Christian walk of faith it is important to pray together with other believers. Not only with your church, but with friends, your spouse, and other family members as well.
Corporate prayer opens up your heart to the needs of others. Not only does it bring encouragement, repentance, edification, joy, and the feeling of love among believers, but it shows togetherness and the body of Christ working together submitting to the will of God.
In prayer we are to align our lives with God’s purpose leaving our desires behind and when it’s all about God and his divine will we can have confidence that our prayers will be answered. Always remember it’s all about his glory and the advancement of his kingdom.
What does the Bible say?
1. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them..“
2. 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
3. James 5:14-15 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him..
4. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
